EcoWay
I spearheaded the technical development of this project in Dubai. My role involved designing and scaling a rapid Battery Swap infrastructure for commercial electric vehicles, which provided me with invaluable experience in integrating hardware into a massive urban environment.

Project Overview
Building a green mobility ecosystem for the hyper-competitive UAE last-mile delivery sector required an absolute integration of custom hardware, energy infrastructure, and software. As CTO, I spearheaded the technical development from absolute scratch, engineering vehicles capable of withstanding extreme Middle Eastern climates while ensuring 100% operational uptime for major fleet operators.
Core Pillars of Execution
1. Vehicle Engineering & Extreme-Climate Hardware
Co-developed and optimized heavy-duty electric delivery vehicles specifically tailored for ambient temperatures reaching up to 47°C. By meticulously tuning the chassis and powertrain, we achieved stable, sustained speeds of 120+ km/h on compact 12-inch wheels without thermal throttling or performance degradation.
2. Battery Architecture & Swapping Infrastructure
Architected the entire energy ecosystem from the ground up. I sourced and onboarded top-tier global suppliers, strategically integrating high-performance CATL cells to guarantee maximum lifecycle, fire safety, and heat resistance. Parallel to this, I managed the development of proprietary, automated battery-swapping stations to replace traditional, slow charging bottlenecks.
3. B2B Fleet Integration & Global Supply Chain
Successfully aligned technical requirements and executed pilot presentations for the region’s largest last-mile delivery enterprises, including Talabat, Deliveroo, Careem, and Noon.
Conducted on-site factory audits and hardware compliance testing directly at manufacturing facilities in China.
Managed complex international logistics, customs clearance, and vehicle registration with UAE regulatory authorities.
Secured prime infrastructure locations for swapping stations through direct negotiations with major corporate entities like Union Coop.
4. Software Infrastructure & QA
Directed the end-to-end mobile application development for the battery-swapping network through a dedicated Business Analyst. Acted as the technical bridge between local software teams and Chinese backend developers, resolving critical integration bottlenecks, managing cross-cultural alignments, and personally executing QA testing to guarantee system stability.
Hard Validation & Impact
To bulletproof the hardware before mass deployment, I personally executed a grueling 14,000+ km field-testing marathon in Dubai during peak summer. This hands-on, granular approach extended to daily technical operations—from replacing and fine-tuning motor controllers (ESCs) to establishing comprehensive training frameworks for commercial riders and service mechanics to ensure maximum fleet availability.
